Phoenix Round Blue resized 600Walpole, MA - April 15, 2010 -- Precision Solutions Group is proud to announce the availability of our modernized framework and first module of Phoenix. Phoenix not only provides a modernized more efficient experience for PRISM users but also the technology all companies need to move with flexibility and agility through today's varied, dynamic technology landscape.

Phoenix really looks good and is GUI, but there is much more to it than that ...

Customer Service users will get to information they need more quickly than before. Information can come from multiple sources: PRISM, document databases, internal or external websites, other applications and more ... all without leaving their new workspace. Our goal: Give users access to information they need with fewer than 3 clicks of the
mouse. Most importantly all of the PRISM functionality including your modifications are retained. This intellectual property embedded your PRISM implementation is preserved.

Enterprise 2.0, cloud computing, software-as-a-service (SAAS), and more are all tugging at your IT professional's sleeve. New functionality is coming in many different forms and our core business applications must continue to fit into this fast changing world. PSGi's Phoenix
framework provides the foundation for bringing all these technologies together with PRISM very quickly. And, the new Phoenix framework provides consistency no matter what application is being used.

Reactions from those that have seen Phoenix:

"Love to see this happen"
"We love PRISM"
"Taking this to management"
"Good direction ... a viable alternative"
"Definitely interested."

PSGI's PRISM Phoenix DashboardModernization Rationale.
Overall core ERP functionality (not just PRISM) has seen no real additions for years. All of the work has been focused on the periphery. Implementing a new ERP system is extremely expensive and gaining no new functionality in the process only adds to the cost. However, companies using legacy systems like PRISM still run the risk of PRISM Data falling behind because they cannot easily integrate to emerging technologies. Organizations need to be able to integrate easily to multiple platforms, need to bring new functionality to their user base quickly and need to do all of this under budgets that are more constrained than ever. Phoenix allows people, platforms and processes to all work seamlessly together. Phoenix provides a user experience with access to all of the desired information whether from the legacy ERP systems or newer emerging technologies. Most importantly Phoenix provides the capability to integrate easily to multiple platforms, bring new functionality quickly to users and do this a very modest cost.

Seeing is believing. PSGi will be showing PRISM Phoenix in a series of 1 hour GotoMeeting webinars. Here's the details of the first one:

  • Date: Thursday, April 29th, 2010
  • Time: 2 PM EDT
